Family support
Our Patient and Family Support Team works with the families and children of patients at our hospice during the patients’ illness and afterwards.
We provide advice on practical issues such as finances, housing, benefits and the needs of children, as well as psychological support.
We work one-to-one with children, young people and adults. We also run a relatives’ group and a group for parents whose children need our help.
Our patient and family support team includes the hospice chaplain, social workers and volunteers who have been trained to offer bereavement support.
