Accessing services - information for healthcare professionals

We put an emphasis on symptom control, quality of life and attention to the needs of individual patients and their families, whatever the stage of their illness.

Patients may be referred for assessment and alleviation of distressing symptoms, for rehabilitation or terminal care, or to avoid a crisis and to facilitate care at home.

Requests for admission

Requests for admission are considered by our consultants and should be made by telephoning the hospice directly on 0131 470 2201.
